IMPORTANT: In order to approve a waiver, an organics waste audit is necessary. Collect food waste, in 5 gallons buckets, for two consecutive weeks. Submit pictures below on this form clearly showing the amount of organic waste in the buckets at the end of each week. You must also submit photos of trash and recycling bins for those weeks.

Upon review, you will be notified whether or not your waiver was approved. Waivers are subject to periodic review and may be revoked at the sole discretion of the City of Lincoln should any condition under which it was granted change.

WAIVERS*
The City can waiver businesses on a case-by-case basis from the requirements of the law if the business meets any of the following criteria, please select all that apply:
- Lack of sufficient space at a business to provide additional organic material recycling bins.
- The current implementation of actions (such as food donation) that result in the recycling of a significant portion of organic waste. Provide details of the food donation activity.
- Limited-term waivers for extraordinary and unforeseen events.
- The business or group of businesses generates 2 cubic yards or more of waste, but does not generate 20 gallons of organic waste per week (see documentation requirements above).
- The business or group of businesses generates less than 2 cubic yards of waste, but does not generate 10 gallons of organic waste per week (see documentation requirements above).
